The Balneario of Rincón is located in the north west side part of Puerto Rico, in the city of Rincón. It counts with crystal clear waters, a little wood harbor with ocean view and some sand on the shore. From this Balneario with a sunny clear day, is very easy to see and spot the island of Desecheo. The sand area is not very big and wide like other locations that we visit, but if the weather conditions are good and there is not too much wind blowing, is a very good place to hang around, have some swimming and of course snorkeling in hand.

 

Bring some umbrellas there is not too much tree in the area. Rincón have some good spots for scuba diving too. Always keep tracking of the weather because this area have some waves. Remember the Rincón area  have some of best spots for Surfing in Puerto Rico. This part of Puerto Rico usually have the best sunsets, try not to miss one. This Balneario count with public facilites like bathrooms, showers, changing rooms, free parking areas and picnic tables. Its is a very convenient beach that have some kiosks in the facilities for snacks but also some Restaurants in the surroundings. All this convenience, amenities and beauty make this Balneario one popular gem in the city of Rincón.

 

Needed to add that this Balneario doesn't have life guards, so be just careful with the swimming perimeters. The Parking is Free of cost but also in high season gets very crowded. Is a very popular place for locals by all means. If you are visiting the west part of Puerto Rico, this definitely is one of the places to make one stop and have some fun.
