Playa Santa is located in the city of Guánica, Puerto Rico. This peninsula holds one of the favorite beach in the south region Playa Santa, but close by there is also, Jungle Beach and Playa Manglillo. Playa Santa is the most accessible, favorite, convenient and commercial friendly. This beach holds very loose sand of white tone color, the water reflect the light blue sky and the visibility under water is excellent most of the time. Playa Santa rarely have waves, most of the time the ocean on this area is very calm, just like a natural salt water pool. Playa Santa is very well frequented by the locals, specially on local celebrations of colleges university games in the end of April.

Playa Santa have a swimming designated area, a small bay next to the parking lot and just in front of it, many kiosks and restaurants. All this comes very handy, because this is a public beach and doesn't count with the public facilities or amenities that a Balneario may have. There is a very a line of tropical trees across the all sandy shore of Playa Santa, just perfect to claim a spot and hide from the sun heat just a little bit.
